The day before the Michael Kors Jet Set Experience and his first-ever fashion show in Shanghai, we follow the designer from dress rehearsal to dinner and all the fashionable appointments in between.

WAKE UP CALL

I woke up early to catch up on the news before getting out of bed. Today’s schedule is packed but I don’t like rushing in the mornings, especially when jet-lagged.

DRESS REHEARSAL

We’re putting the final finishing touches on tomorrow’s show. My team has worked for months making sure the night goes off without a hitch and it’s such a thrill to see it all finally come to life! The models in the show are simply divine.

SHOPPING BREAK

Sneaking in time to pick up a few souvenirs. The cashmere scarves at Ruyee Life Gallery boutique on the Bund are so luxe and make fabulous gifts for friends and family back home.

A LATE LUNCH

Just a quick bite and right back to work.
