We’re pleased to welcome another team member to the ShopStorm family today. We’re very excited to announce that Hannes Benson will be joining our team as a senior app developer!
Hannes joins our team from South Africa, bringing our total country count to 6 (!). He’s joining us after working with Mad Mimi and GoDaddy, so he’s got great experience in backend development and scaling email infrastructure, which will definitely help as we continue to improve our Jilt app.
Hannes will spend his time on backend development and top-level support. Thus far he’s knocked out tons of improvements to Product Customizer in his trial period, which are about to be released as part of a massive update to the app. Hannes now joins our team full-time to continue his work on Product Customizer and BlogFeeder, and will be working with Jilt in the future as well.
Aside from backend development chops, Hannes brings an extreme love of coffee to the team along with great taste in music. He also used to be a Skyrim master, then he took an arrow to the knee.
